Effective September 27, 2026. Approved by the Center-Line Machining owner/admin.
Center-Line Machining operates ERP Accounting as a private integration for its own business. It connects the company ERP to the QuickBooks Online company selected by an authorized administrator. It is not a public bookkeeping service. Contact the owner/admin at kristian@clmachining.com for questions about this integration or requests concerning its records.
The integration handles company identifiers, customer and vendor details, invoice and bill numbers, dates, line descriptions, amounts, account and item references, balances, payment records, synchronization identifiers and error/audit information. It also handles authorization tokens needed to access the connected QuickBooks company. A payment record describes an accounting event; this integration does not initiate a bank transfer or collect payment-card credentials.
The ERP uses these records to prepare accounting entries, compare the two systems, prevent duplicate submissions, investigate differences and retain evidence of approved actions. The initial implementation covers transactions dated January 1, 2026 onward. An opening balance or other carryforward is a separate owner-reviewed accounting decision.
Authorized ERP users have access according to their assigned roles. Only the owner/admin approves accounting mappings and cutover decisions. Intuit receives the records submitted through its QuickBooks API and provides records requested from the connected company. Intuit operates its service under its own terms and privacy notice.
The ERP is hosted at the company's U.S. shop. Tailscale provides the HTTPS gateway used for the connection callback and can process connection traffic and related service metadata. Company-authorized technical support may access records when needed to maintain or troubleshoot the integration. This integration has no advertising or data-sale purpose.
The broader ERP includes AI-assisted document and business workflows. Suggested information must pass the ERP's applicable validation and approval controls before becoming accounting authority. QuickBooks connection credentials must not be included in AI prompts. This notice does not authorize training an AI model on QuickBooks data. Any new AI use of QuickBooks data requires separate review of the data flow and applicable Intuit requirements before activation.
The ERP stores business records in its database and may retain copies in company backups. The integration encrypts stored OAuth tokens and uses HTTPS for communication with Intuit and for its public callback. These measures do not constitute a security certification or guarantee. The public connection gateway does not provide public access to ERP accounting records.
Disconnecting the app through QuickBooks stops its authorized QuickBooks access; it does not automatically delete transactions already posted to QuickBooks or business records retained by the ERP. Ask the owner/admin to review access revocation, removal of stored connection credentials, export, correction or deletion requests. Business and audit records may need to be retained for accounting, operational or legal purposes. The owner/admin determines the applicable retention period and backup handling; this notice promises no automatic deletion deadline.
The owner/admin must review material changes to data use and publish an updated notice before those changes take effect. The published version will identify its effective date. This notice creates no assertion that production access or synchronization is already enabled.
